About me

Andy Tromans About 01a.jpg

I am a painter and print maker working in the industrial West Midlands and rural central France.

Much of my influence is drawn from my surroundings in these areas which sees my subjects move between grimy blacksmith shops, factories and canals to sun drenched fields of sunflowers, trees and sweetcorn.

My recent printmaking has focused upon relief lino work, Japanese woodcut and drypoint etching, my painting revolves around enjoying creamy oils and exploring mark making.

I run workshop sessions and deliver talks concerning lino and dry point techniques plus woodcut

I am a full member of RBSA, a member of Dudley Art Society , Birmingham Art Circle and have exhibited regularly with the RBSA through open and prize exhibitions.
